The Tempest is a Comedy written by English playwright William Shakespeare, who is widely considered to be the greatest writer of the English language. The Tempest is a play about a sorcerer, Prospero and the Duke of Milan, who lives with his daughter Miranda on an island. Prospero confronts those that have usurped his throne, including his brother Alonso.
