A widower tries to keep his daughter out of harms way from the rough streets of New York City. After he is passed over for a promotion from the NYPD SWAT division, he accepts a sheriff job in a small, quiet, country town. He sees this as a wonderful opportunity to get his daughter far from the dangers of the city streets. Unbeknown to him, the town has a dark secret. A homicidal killer lurks in the woods. When the town becomes a bloodbath, the new sheriff calls upon his old buddies from the SWAT team for help.
